PARIS- Air Lease Corporation (ALC) and Boeing (NYSE: BA) announced today at the Paris Air Show 2023 that ALC will expand its impressive aircraft portfolio with the acquisition of two Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
ALC, a leading global lessor, has been a loyal customer of the 787 since 2010. Further, it placed its first order for the 787-9. ALC’s aircraft lineup currently includes the 787-9 and 787-10 models.

The 787 family has revolutionized air travel since its introduction in 2011. Further enabling the launch of nearly 360 new nonstop routes worldwide—more than ten times the number of routes established by other aircraft in the same category.
With a capacity to carry 296 passengers and a range of up to 7,565 nautical miles (14,010 km) in a typical two-class configuration, the 787-9 offers unmatched performance.

With a remarkable 25% reduction in fuel consumption and emissions compared to its predecessors. The 787 family has already contributed to avoiding over 125 billion pounds of carbon emissions since its inception.
The demand for the 787 is currently at an all-time high, with over 250 orders and commitments received in the past six months alone.
