          DELHI- The upcoming startup regional carrier, Jettwings, announced that they have got Govt Approval and the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), India.

          The Indian carrier hosted the event in New Delhi to announce the launch. Further, the airline has shared the video on its Twitter handle with Embraer aircraft and a message, “COMING SOON.”

          Jettwings Airways Gets Govt Approval

          Jettwings Airways has confirmed that they have got the Indian government’s nod to commence the scheduled operations in India. Further, the airline will be the first carrier-based out in North East India.

          In a statement, the airline announced its intention to provide regional connectivity to destinations in the northeast and eastern regions as part of the Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN) scheme.

          Sanjay Aditya Singh, co-founder and CEO of the airline, expressed the airline’s commitment to working closely with the DGCA to fulfil all the necessary requirements for operations.

          He stated that once they receive the AOC (Air Operator Certificate), their goal is to establish a dependable and environmentally conscious airline deeply connected to northeast India.

          He further mentioned the importance of having an airline originating from the northeast region. Subsequently embraces the essence of conducting business in India. “JettWings Airways aims to embody this spirit as we approach our upcoming launch in the next few months,” he stated.

          Further emphasizing their commitment to achieving this goal during the preparation phase.

          According to the airline’s chairman, Sanjive Narain, implementing the UDAN scheme presents a distinctive chance for the airline to change the northeast region substantially.

          They aim to make a positive and lasting impact by enhancing connectivity and fostering new economic prospects.

          According to a statement by the airline, the JettWings Airways fleet will feature advanced aircraft equipped with a dual-class configuration, offering both business class and premium economy options.

          Upon receiving approval for flight operations, the airline will become the first-ever company from the northeast region to provide airline services within the country.

          Launch Update

          The startup carrier has announced that it will launch operations by October 2023. Further, it will be based out in Guwahati.

          Subsequently, the Indian carrier will initially plan to operate flights on 16 routes. They will utilize the Embraer E175s and will be the second one to do so in India after Star Air (S9), which operates all Embraer fleets.

          According to the report, the airline will order four Embraer 175s and commence operations with Two.

          About Jettwings Airways

          The Jettwings is the institute and has the same logo as the airline. Further, the institute is founded by Sanjay Aditya Singh, and He is the Chairman of the group as well as the MD and CEO of Jettwings Airways.

          He is with Jettwings since Jan 2004, almost for around 19 years. Further, he resides in Guwahati, Assam, and we expect the airline to be based at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati (GAU) or Shillong Airport (SHL).

          According to Zabua Corp, Jettwings Airways Private Limited is a Private incorporated on 10 February 2022. It is classified as a Non-govt company and is registered at the Registrar of Companies, Shillong.

          Its authorized share capital is Rs. 100,000,000, and its paid-up capital is Rs. 100,000,000. It is involved in Higher education [Includes post-secondary/senior secondary sub-degree level education that leads to a university degree or equivalent.

          Jettwings Airways Private Limited’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) was last held on N/A, and as per records from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), its balance sheet was last filed on N/A.

          The directors of Jettwings Airways Private Limited are Sanjive Narain and Sanjay Aditya Singh.
