LOS ANGELES- Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines (DL) will increase the flight frequency between Los Angeles (LAX), United States, and Sydney (SYD), Australia.
Delta Air Lines currently operates ten weekly flights between Los Angeles and Sydney. Subsequently, it plans to increase it from ten to 14 weekly flights from December 16, 2023.
Delta Boosts Los Angeles to Sydney
According to Ishrion Aviation, Delta Air Lines deploys its Airbus A350-900 to serve this route. The US carrier will continue to operate all 14 weekly flights using the same aircraft type.
However, the airline is yet to confirm the increased number of flights. Furthermore, the airline has not started ticket sales for these additional flights.
The airline increased the frequency to ten weekly flights last time on Dec 16, 2022. Subsequently, the airline operates daily flight DL41 from LAX to SYD and returns flight DL42 from SYD to LAX.
Furthermore, the airline also operates three additional flights on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday as DL43 from LAX to SYD. Likewise, the return flight DL44 from SYD to LAX.
We expect that the airline will add four more flights as DL43 for LAX-SYD and DL44 SYD-LAX on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. However, we will update you whenever we receive official details from the airline.
