          MUMBAI- The Indian low-cost carrier SpiceJet (SG) Airlines introduces special onboard meal experiences crafted by acclaimed Michelin-star chef Vikas Khanna with the aim of promoting education for girls.

          The SpiceJet shared a Special video featuring Michelin-star chef Vikas Khanna on its social media platform. Furthermore, SG unveiled a new livery featuring Vikas Khanna with in-flight meals.

          SpiceJet Meal curated by Michelin Star Chef

          Aviation Veteran Ajay Singh led SpiceJet carrier revealed the news about this wonderful collaboration today on June 1, 2023.

          Subsequently, the Indian carrier Expressed, “Experience a culinary collaboration between SpiceJet and renowned chef Vikas Khanna, bringing you four exclusive and delectable dishes. Indulge in these limited edition flavors while supporting the Mijwan Welfare Society’s mission to empower girls through education in India. Bon appétit!”

          It’s a team-up that’s cooking up a storm of flavours – SpiceJet × Vikas Khanna. Presenting 4 limited edition dishes by Michelin-starred chef Vikas Khanna to pamper the palate. Bite into some deliciousness as we support Mijwan Welfare Society to empower girls in India by educating them. Bon appétit!

          Here is the Exclusive Video of this amazing collaboration,

          Vikas Khanna is seen showing the Indian cuisine culture in the video. Subsequently, he shares his experience of cooking Indian food and the value of countries’ meals. Further, He said he likes to return to India to discover the rich Indian cuisine.

          SG wants its passengers to enjoy the Michelin star-curated four limited edition meals onboard its flight. Further, it will support the gird education in collaboration with the Mijwan Welfare Society.

          SpiceJet introduces a special initiative by partnering with renowned Michelin-star chef Vikas Khanna to offer exclusive in-flight meals to support girl child education.

          Additionally, the airline unveils unique aircraft liveries showcasing delectable dishes curated by Chef Vikas Khanna. Furthermore, a motion picture based on his book, ‘Imaginary Rain,’ featuring acclaimed actress Shabana Azmi, is also revealed as part of this collaboration.

          Vikas Khanna, an internationally acclaimed Indian chef with a Michelin star, is a talented chef and an award-winning author, poet, and filmmaker.

          His outstanding achievements include receiving the Access to Freedom Award, Eleanor Roosevelt’s Shining Star Award, and being honored as GQ Man of the Year.

          Deutsche Welle recognized him as one of the “10 Global Legendary Chefs who’ve revolutionized our eating habits.” Chef Vikas Khanna has become a leading authority on Indian Cuisine, captivating audiences with his successful cooking shows and sharing his expertise through over 25 cookbooks.

          His book “Flavors First” stood out among his accolades and won the prestigious Benjamin Franklin Award. At the same time, “Khanna Sutra,” “My Great India,” and “Savor Mumbai” were honored at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

          In 2018, Michelin-starred Chef Vikas Khanna embarked on his most ambitious venture, the Museum of Culinary Arts, at WGSHA in Manipal, India.

          This unique institution serves as a platform to exhibit the wealth of Indian heritage, history, and cultural diversity through a collection of kitchen equipment.
