BELAGAVI- Due to a technical malfunction, a Redbird training aircraft, with a pilot and a trainee pilot on board, had to make an emergency (Crash) landing in a farm field in Belagavi, Karnataka. Both pilots sustained minor injuries and were subsequently transported to the Airforce hospital.

RedBird Training Aircraft Makes Crash Landing
Sources report that a training aircraft, with a pilot and a trainee pilot on board, departed from Sambra airport in Belagavi at 9:30 am.
Unfortunately, the aircraft encountered a technical issue during the flight. Further, it had to make an unscheduled landing in a farm field located in Honnihala village, Belagavi.
The aircraft involved in the incident is specifically used for training purposes by the trainers of the Redbird Flight Training Centre in Belagavi.

According to reports, a trainer aircraft met with an accident in Kadbanbari on June 2022. Further, the Kadbanbari is located in the Indapur taluka of the Pune district, Maharashtra.
A trainee female pilot, who was operating the small trainer aircraft, sustained minor injuries. When the aircraft crashed into a field in Kadbanwadi between 11:20 am and 11:25 am on Monday. The local police confirmed the incident.
The aircraft belonged to a private academy and had taken off from Baramati. It was flying at an altitude of 3,200 feet before descending and crashing into the farm.
After the occurrence, residents of Pondkule village quickly arrived at the scene and rescued the female pilot, ensuring her safety.
Unfortunately, the aircraft sustained significant damage as a result of the crash. Senior police officials and representatives from Carver Academy promptly arrived at the location. To evaluate the extent of the damage and initiate an investigation into the accident.
