MUMBAI- The largest hospitality company in India, Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), has revealed The Maharaja Suite at the Taj Mahal, New Delhi, a tribute to the iconic symbol of Air India, as a way of welcoming the national carrier back into the Tata group.

As Air India expands its network across the world, Taj will partner with the national carrier to offer world-class Indian hospitality. Likewise, the Maharaja Suite is a tribute to the pioneer of Indian aviation. Furthermore, it takes the guest on a journey through time with its uniquely themed master bedroom, dining room, enclosed balcony lounge, and study.
The suite is designed with furniture and artwork showcasing Maharaja’s characteristic style, wit, and warmth. Likewise, aviation aesthetics are visible in airplane-styled windows, lounge chairs, luggage elements, and deep red doors and ceilings.

Mr. Campbell Wilson, Air India’s CEO, and Managing Director, expressed his delight at introducing The Maharaja Suite at the Taj Mahal, New Delhi. Which celebrates the iconic Maharaja, a proud part of Air India’s legacy.
Further, He stated that the suite would serve as a reminder of Air India’s history as they transform the airline. Subsequently, to become one of the best in the world again. Bobby Mukherji and Associates designed the suite. Further, its introduction marked the completion of the renovation of the Taj Mahal in New Delhi.
