The alert further stated, “Passengers using Air India domestic flights are requested to kindly connect with the airline and check the schedule for further updates before departing from home.”
According to reliable sources, the airline will resume its international operations from Terminal 2 as scheduled. Because the international terminal is being renovated to create an integrated terminal, the airline made the temporary choice to move its domestic operations.

By executing extensive infrastructure upgrades at both the domestic and international terminals of the city airport, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad will expand its capacity to handle passengers.
The operations of Air India’s domestic flights will be temporarily moved to Terminal 1, the domestic terminal, effective at 12.01 a.m. on April 20, as instructed by the regulatory bodies, according to a Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport spokesperson.
