Zhongyuan Longhao Airlines (China Central Longhao Airlines) has started flights between Zhengzhou, China and New Delhi, India.
According to Delhi International Airport (DEL), the state-owned cargo airline will operate two flights per week from Zhengzhou using a B747-400 freighter.
New Flights
In a LinkedIn post on April 13, the airport said, Delhi International Airport is delighted to welcome “China Central Longhao Freighter” at DEL today.
“The airline will operate two flights per week between Zhengzhou, China and New Delhi, using a B747-400 aircraft with a capacity of 100 MT.”
“During the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, Zhongyuan Longhao will focus on the construction of Zhengzhou International Aviation Hub, deepen cooperation with international large-scale e-commerce companies and world-class freight forwarders, and build a fleet of medium- and long-range wide-body cargo aircraft,” the airline stated on its website.
The airline also stated that it intends to “accelerate the development of a global air cargo route network system to become a leading air cargo service provider in China, as well as promote the “Air Silk Road” to fly wider and wider.” Currently, the airline operates 11 Boeing 737Fs and one Boeing 747F.
About Zhongyuan Longhao Airlines
Longhao Airlines Ltd, also known as China Central Longhao Airlines (formerly Zhongyuan Longhao Airlines), is a Chinese cargo airline based in Guangzhou. Furthermore, the carrier provides domestic and international freight services, including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
The carrier completed its first test flight on December 4, 2016, and received its AOC on March 28, 2017.
Zhongyuan Longhao began operations on March 29, 2017, with a service between Guangzhou and Nantong. Further, Guangdong Longhao Aviation Group founded Zhongyuan Longhao Airlines. During that time, they had a registered capital of CNY400 million (USD61.6 million).
On June 18, 2019, Zhongyuan Longhao Airlines rebranded as China Central Longhao Airlines. Likewise, it received a new air operator certificate on May 30, 2019.
