First Drone Pilot Training School in Northeast India
The DGCA gave its approval for the Remote Pilot Training School to open last month. According to the unit, AMTRON has attempted to introduce this technology to young people. The first-ever Remote Pilot Training School will open in North-Eastern India, ushering in a new era of technology-enhanced education.
The opening of such institutions will give Northeastern youth new opportunities and the inspiration to employ technology for the advancement of society. The young of the Northeast will have a dizzying array of prospects thanks to drone technology, since they will be trained by the best in the field.
“Joining hands in the venture as its training partner is EduRade,” the statement continued. “EduRade is a Government of India recognised start-up incubated at IIT Guwahati and IIM Calcutta Innovation Park that has trained a significant number of young people on emerging technologies in prestigious institutions, including IITs and NITs.”
AMTRON Drone School
According to the report, there are currently 23 drone schools registered in the nation, with the first DGCA-approved drone training school in the nation having been established in Haryana in 2021. Now that this school has opened in Guwahati, Assam has its own spot on the drone map of India.
“One of the top drone schools in the nation is expected to be the AMTRON Drone School at Tech City with flying grounds at the Assam Forest School, Jalukbari. Two small categories (2–25 kg) and two micro categories (2 kg and under) indigenous drones have been purchased by AMTRON for the school. In the near future, Tech City would manufacture two further models of agricultural drones (small category 2-25 kg) for use in agricultural applications. The Tech City Project is in charge of the project.”
