ATLANTA- This winter, Delta Air Lines (DL) is introducing new travel options from Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP) to the tropical paradises of Aruba (AUA) and St Maarten (SXM).
Additionally, the airline is enhancing its service from MSP to Grand Cayman and San Juan, Puerto Rico, providing more opportunities for customers to escape the cold and enjoy a tropical getaway.
Delta Minneapolis to St Marteen and Aruba
“As the leading carrier from MSP to Latin America and the Caribbean, we’re excited to increase our seats to these popular destinations, offering unmatched convenience and expanded choices for our customers,” said Joe Esposito, Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning.
With the addition of Aruba, St. Maarten, and the recently added Mazatlán, customers have three brand-new sunny destinations to look forward to this winter.”
Delta’s new flights to Aruba (AUA) will operate on Fridays and Sundays, allowing travelers to relax on Eagle Beach, snorkel in the blue waters of Baby Beach, explore Arikok National Park, and enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Oranjestad.
Delta flights to St. Maarten (SXM) will operate on Thursdays and Saturdays. Travelers can immerse themselves in the island’s rich culture, visit the bustling Marigot Market, savor diverse cuisine at Grand Case, engage in water sports at Orient Bay, and explore scenic hiking trails.
Sunny and Beach Destinations
Delta is expanding its services to Grand Cayman (GCM) with an additional weekly flight, bringing the total to three, and to San Juan (SJU) with two more weekly trips, totaling 10.
Furthermore, Delta has recently announced new flights to Mazatlán, Mexico (MZT), adding another destination and expanding its presence in Latin America.
With these new routes and increased frequencies, Delta will operate 126 weekly flights and offer over 20,000 weekly seats from MSP to 15 attractive destinations this winter. These destinations include popular spots such as Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; Liberia, Costa Rica; and Montego Bay, Jamaica.
“The ongoing increase in international travel has been a significant trend for MSP in recent years, and we are thrilled to see Delta introduce this new service,” said Brian Ryks, CEO of the Metropolitan Airports Commission, which oversees MSP Airport.

Flight Schedule and Other Details
Delta’s service to St. Maarten and Aruba will operate seasonally this winter on the Boeing 757-200 (75D), offering customers a range of options including First Class, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin.
Passengers in First Class can indulge in a chef-curated dining experience along with complimentary premium wine, beer, and spirits. Delta Comfort+ passengers will also enjoy complimentary beverages and additional space for relaxation.
All passengers across cabins can access over 1,000 hours of free premium entertainment through Delta Studio, in-seat power, and fast, complimentary Wi-Fi for Delta SkyMiles members.
Travelers interested in booking their trips to Latin America or the Caribbean can utilize Delta Vacations, which allows for booking flights, expert-recommended hotels, rides, and activities all in one place.
