MUMBAI- Tata-owned Indian FSC Air India (AI) will resume flights to the Maldives in its winter schedule starting from October 30, 2023. The airline will operate thrice-weekly flights from Mumbai (BOM) and Bengaluru (BLR) to Male (MLE).
Further, other Indian carriers like IndiGo (6E) and Vistara (UK) operate flights to Male, Maldives.
Air India Maldives Flights
The flight timings are as follows:
- AI265: Bengaluru to Male, departing at 12:10 PM and arriving at 13:55 PM
- AI266: Male to Bengaluru, departing at 14:55 PM and arriving at 17:35 PM
- AI267: Mumbai to Male, departing at 13:35 PM and arriving at 16:05 PM
- AI268: Male to Mumbai, departing at 17:05 PM and arriving at 20:35 PM
The flights will be operated by Air India’s Airbus A320 family aircraft. Passengers can book their tickets on the Air India website or through travel agents.
Further, this is a welcome move for tourists and business travelers who have been eager to resume travel to the Maldives. The Maldives is a popular tourist destination known for its beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters.

According to CEO and Managing Director Campbell Wilson, Air India (AI) is set to enhance passenger service by increasing the number of cabin crew members on its single-aisle aircraft operating on international routes and domestic metro-to-metro routes.
Further, He conveyed to employees that the recruitment and training teams have successfully brought new colleagues on board.
Wilson indicated that starting from September 1, the airline plans to reinstate a full service-oriented cabin crew on these specific flights.
Subsequently, As new crew members continued to join, Wilson expressed the intention to extend this enhanced service to all flights, contingent upon passenger demand.
