Southwest Airlines has removed 17 routes from Denver, Las Vegas, Chicago Midway, Baltimore/Washington and Nashville between August 2025 and August 2026, including the long-running BWI to Jackson link that never came close to filling its seats. Over the same period, the carrier introduced 19 airport pairs, headlined by its first flights to Anchorage.
