Noida Airport Opening Schedule

India’s aviation security regulator has rejected the security clearance of Noida International Airport’s Swiss CEO Christoph Schnellmann, citing a 2011 mandate that requires greenfield airport CEOs to be Indian nationals. The decision puts the airport’s commercial launch at risk just weeks after its inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In the lead-up to the Lok Sabha elections, the first test flight from Noida International Airport (DXN) is anticipated to take off this month.
