NEW YORK- The US carrier JetBlue (B6) is calling on the U.S. Department of Transportation to prohibit Royal Dutch KLM (KL) from operating at New York (JFK) airport in the event that JetBlue is unable to maintain its flights to and from Schiphol.

Dutch Flag carrier KLM (KL) pilots have called off the planned one-hour strike scheduled for Monday morning following an agreement reached between the Dutch airline and the pilots union, VNV.
The Dutch flag carrier, KLM (KL), has decided to cancel flights to and from Asia on Wednesday due to the ongoing tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan, despite the ceasefire announced in the Nagorno-Karabakh region later in the day.
KLM, the parent company of Transavia, is facing difficulties with its fleet, resulting in canceled flights. KLM Cityhopper flights to European destinations are among the affected flights.
