China Eastern Airlines (MU) has signed a deal with the aircraft manufacturer Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) to buy 100 new C919 Aircraft.

The ACCC (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission) has released a preliminary decision suggesting the rejection of authorization for Qantas Airways Ltd, China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited, and their affiliated entities (including Jetstar) to maintain their collaborative activities on routes connecting Australia and mainland China.
China Eastern (MU) Airlines recently revealed its plans to initiate a non-stop route from Shanghai to Istanbul, commencing on September 28. The airline’s service seamlessly connects Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) with Istanbul Airport (IST).
On Sunday, China Eastern Airlines (MU) welcomed its second domestically produced C919 passenger plane in Shanghai, following the aircraft’s first commercial flight on May 28.
Shanghai-based China Eastern Airlines (MU) is adding additional capacity to the European cities, including Paris (CDG) and Madrid (MAD), from its base in Shanghai (PVG).
