IndiGo (6E) Airlines, the largest airline in India by market share, has announced a salary increase for its pilots and cabin crew.

Bombay High Court has deferred its decision regarding whether it possesses the jurisdiction to adjudicate the case initiated by Akasa Air (QP) against five pilots who recently resigned from the company without fulfilling the required notice period.
Akasa, India’s youngest and greenest airline, has experienced a 30% increase in its pilot roster, bringing the total to 450 since April this year.
MUMBAI- Akasa Airlines (QP) has opted to pursue legal recourse against 43 pilots who chose to join different airlines without fulfilling their notice period obligations.
Akasa Air (QP), and Tata-backed Air India Express (AI) have both refrained from accusations of pilot poaching, with each asserting that the other is involved in unfair business practices
MUMBAI- In August alone, a minimum of 19 pilots departed Akasa Air (QP) without completing their notice period, and it’s reported that more resignations are in progress, driven by attractive job offers from Air India Express (IX).
India’s youngest and Greenest carrier, Akasa Air (QP), is hiring pilots to boost its operation. The move came amid the Go First Airline crisis. Furthermore, Tata-owned FSC Air India, Vistara, and India’s largest carrier IndiGo started hiring at a mass level.
