Air India has placed an order for 470 aircraft from Airbus and Boeing at a list price of $70 billion, according to Chief Executive Campbell Wilson, as the airline seeks potential to expand in long-haul international travel.
IndiGo is in talks with Airbus to purchase “several hundred aircrafts,” according to comments made by French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire in comments published by Les Echos on Thursday.
The previously announced deal for 200 737 MAX aircraft has been successfully renewed by Vietjet and Boeing, the world’s largest maker of aircraft.
