LONDON- British Airways (BA) has resumed flights between London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Dubai International Airport (DXB) after an 8-month suspension caused by the conflict in the Middle East.
Flight BA105 operated the first service on Tuesday, while Air France (AF), Singapore Airlines (SQ), KLM (KL) and Virgin Atlantic (VS) keep their Dubai flights suspended.

BA105 and BA104 Restart Dubai Route
According to The National, BA105 departed London Heathrow at 8:08 PM local time on Tuesday, November 3, and arrived in Dubai at 7:33 AM local time on Wednesday, November 4.
The return flight, BA104, left Dubai at 9:45 am local time on Wednesday and is scheduled to arrive in London at 2:36 PM local time.
British Airways is initially operating one daily flight between the 2 cities during the winter. The airline plans to increase the frequency to twice daily in summer 2027.
The resumption marks the return of a major international carrier to Dubai after months of disruption to air travel across the region. The disruption followed the outbreak of the Iran war at the end of February.
British Airways had initially planned to restart the Dubai service on October 25 before postponing it to November 3.
British Airways is restoring other Middle East routes on different timelines, while two remain suspended:
- Doha: Service resumed on September 1 with one flight a day, down from twice daily.
- Tel Aviv: Service resumed on October 25 with one daily flight.
- Riyadh: Service restarted on November 3 with one flight a day.
- Amman: Flights are due to resume on November 4 with four flights a week.
- Abu Dhabi: Flights remain suspended and are not expected to resume until the winter 2027-2028 season.
- Bahrain: Flights remain suspended until the end of March 2027.
