FORT LAUDERDALE- JetBlue (B6) has launched daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Barranquilla, Colombia. The route adds another connection between South Florida and Colombia’s Caribbean coast.
JetBlue (JBLU) now serves Barranquilla alongside MedellĂn and Cartagena, while Cali (CLO) is scheduled to join the network later this month. The expansion increases JetBlue’s Colombian network to four destinations.

JetBlue Expands Colombia Network With Barranquilla Service
JetBlue has introduced a new daily nonstop route between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) in Florida and Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport (BAQ) in Barranquilla, Colombia.
The service strengthens travel links between South Florida and Colombia’s Caribbean coast. It also expands JetBlue’s presence in Colombia and provides travelers with another nonstop option for business, leisure, and visits to family and friends.
Fort Lauderdale continues to serve as an important JetBlue gateway. Through FLL, passengers traveling from Barranquilla can connect with destinations across JetBlue’s wider U.S., Latin American, and Caribbean network.

JetBlue’s Growing Colombian Network
Barranquilla becomes the third Colombian destination currently served by JetBlue, following MedellĂn and Cartagena. JetBlue also plans to launch service to Cali (CLO) later this month.
With the addition of Barranquilla and the planned Cali route, JetBlue’s Colombian network will reach four destinations. The expansion supports the airline’s broader strategy of connecting South Florida with markets across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Barranquilla is located on Colombia’s Caribbean coast and serves as a major center for business, culture, and tourism.
The city is internationally recognized for the Carnaval de Barranquilla, one of Colombia’s most prominent cultural celebrations. The new nonstop service provides South Florida travelers with direct access to Barranquilla and the surrounding Caribbean region.
The route also supports travel between the United States and Colombia by providing another direct connection and onward connectivity through Fort Lauderdale.
