LONG ISLAND CITY, NEW YORK— JetBlue (B6) has launched a major expansion at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), adding eight nonstop destinations with six more scheduled in the coming months. The move strengthens the carrier’s position as Fort Lauderdale’s largest airline by flights and nonstop destinations.
The New York-based airline now operates more than 125 daily departures to over 55 nonstop destinations from FLL, the largest schedule in its history at the airport. JetBlue expects to reach approximately 150 daily flights this winter, expanding travel options across South Florida.

JetBlue Adds Eight Routes at Fort Lauderdale
JetBlue began daily nonstop service from Fort Lauderdale to Baltimore (BWI), Charlotte (CLT), Cleveland (CLE), Nashville (BNA), Detroit (DTW), Houston (IAH), Chicago (ORD) and Ponce, Puerto Rico (PSE).
Six additional destinations are set to begin later this year. These include Indianapolis (IND), San Diego (SAN), Columbus, Ohio (CMH), Cali, Colombia (CLO), Barranquilla, Colombia (BAQ) and Caracas, Venezuela (CCS). The Colombia and Venezuela routes remain subject to government approval.
The launches follow strong growth at the airport. JetBlue’s daily departures from FLL are up more than 75% compared to the same period last year. The airline has added service to 24 additional nonstop destinations since December, with six more still to come.

Premium Mint Service Expands to the West Coast
JetBlue is expanding its premium Mint product from Fort Lauderdale to the West Coast. The carrier will launch daily Mint service between Fort Lauderdale and San Diego on November 19, a market it does not currently serve from FLL. The route will offer the only lie-flat product between the two cities.
Additional Mint flights to Los Angeles and San Francisco will begin this winter. The additions give South Florida customers more premium travel options to the West Coast.

Leadership Comments on the Growth
JetBlue Chief Executive Officer Joanna Geraghty described Fort Lauderdale as a cornerstone of the airline’s network and a core part of its long-term strategy. She said the expansion adds more destinations and connections while giving customers more reasons to choose the carrier.
Broward County Mayor Mark Bogen welcomed the new domestic and international routes and pointed to the potential economic impact of the airline’s growth by the winter season.
FLL CEO and Director of Aviation Mark E. Gale said the airport values JetBlue’s renewed commitment and the additional flight options it brings to the market.

JetBlue Foundation Invests in South Florida
The JetBlue Foundation awarded $130,000 in grants to organizations across South Florida this year. Recipients include the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, Millennium 6-12 Collegiate Academy, the Adrienne Arsht Center Trust and the Brevard Schools Foundation.
The grants support STEM education and youth development programs. These initiatives aim to build pathways to aviation careers and strengthen local communities.
Ursula Hurley, Chief Financial Officer of JetBlue and president of the JetBlue Foundation, said the airline remains focused on investing in the communities that support its growth. She said the goal is to expand opportunities for young people and inspire the next generation of aviation professionals.
