ANCHORAGE- Alaska Airlines (AS) is expanding service from Anchorage (ANC) and Portland (PDX) with seven new nonstop routes that increase domestic connectivity across key leisure and business markets. The additions include flights to Boston (BOS), Jackson Hole (JAC), and multiple Washington state airports.
The new routes give travelers more options on Alaska Airlines while strengthening air links from Anchorage and Portland to cities that show strong seasonal and year-round demand.

Alaska Airlines 7 New Routes
Alaska Airlines AS is adding three new routes from Anchorage ANC to Boise (BOI), Boston, and Spokane (GEG), along with four new routes from Portland to Bellingham (BLI), Everett (PAE), Pasco (PSC), and Jackson Hole. These routes begin between March and June next year and include both seasonal and year-round schedules.
The Anchorage expansion brings the carrier to a record number of summer nonstop destinations to the Lower 48 and Hawaii. Boise becomes a new twice-weekly market in peak season, while Boston returns as a weekly service aimed at summer leisure travel. Spokane also re-enters the schedule after a decade, offering convenient timing for travelers on both ends.
Demand from Alaska’s largest city continues to grow, and the carrier is responding by increasing flights to Sacramento (SMF) and San Diego (SAN) with a second weekly nonstop during the summer window.

Portland to Everett resumes as a daily service, reconnecting the Seattle area’s second airport with southern connections. For the summer season, twice-weekly Portland to Jackson Hole flights add a key leisure route for outdoor travel demand. The Portland to Fairbanks service also returns on larger Boeing 737 aircraft next summer.
Across both hubs, the airline aims to support growing summer travel demand with improved coverage and timing. The network updates expand options for both local travelers and those connecting through Anchorage ANC or Portland PDX to other West Coast, Hawaii, and Mexico destinations.
