LONDON- An engineer is fighting for his life after falling 20 feet from a British Airways (BA) aircraft at Heathrow Airport (LHR) during a routine inspection inside a maintenance hangar.

The fall occurred while the worker was checking the auxiliary power unit on the tail of a parked aircraft, causing a severe impact on the concrete floor.
Emergency responders stabilised him at the scene before transferring him to a major trauma centre for priority treatment.
