DOHA- Qatar Airways (QR) revealed its striking new Formula 1® (F1®) livery during the 2025 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix, held at Lusail International Circuit (LIC) near Doha. The reveal occurred at the airline’s hangar on the evening of December 1, following a sensational celebratory flypast over the circuit furnished for media and guests.
This culminates QR’s deepened partnership with Formula 1 and coincides with the race weekend’s spirit of speed, luxury, and global attention. The specially liveried Boeing 777 is set to serve major international destinations this winter, bringing the Grand Prix aura to air travel.

Qatar Airways New Livery 777 Reveal
The new F1-themed paint scheme was unveiled in a high-profile event, attended by global celebrities and sports icons.
The aircraft — designed in collaboration with Grammy-award-winning artist Swizz Beatz — debuted with a dramatic entry featuring entertainer Kevin Hart performing a mock F1-driver “doughnut” maneuver.
Before the reveal, invited media and VIP guests experienced a flypast of the aircraft over the Lusail International Circuit, made more immersive by on-board “gate-to-gate” Starlink Wi-Fi enabling live broadcast from the sky.
QR’s CEO, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer remarked that the design marks a blend of innovation, culture, and sporting passion — calling the new scheme “one of the most iconic aircraft liveries in global aviation.”
He added that the flypast became the most tracked flight globally on Flightradar24 over 24 hours.

Expected Global Reach
The newly liveried Boeing 777 will operate across QR’s international network this winter. Destinations include major air-travel hubs such as London, New York, Melbourne, and Tokyo — ensuring the Grand Prix branding is visible across continents. The aircraft registration is listed as A7-BEG.
This initiative reinforces QR’s status as a world-class airline, complementing its recent recognition as “World’s Best Airline 2025” by Skytrax.
