VIENNA- Austrian Airlines (OS) resumes direct flights from Vienna (VIE) to Dubai (DXB) after a 10 year break. The “Dubai Deal” runs from early December 2025 to the end of March 2026 with 5 weekly A320neo services.
This seasonal route covers 4,250 KM in 5 hours and 30 minutes, offering fares from €314 and tailored amenities for price conscious travelers.
Austrian Airlines Vienna to Dubai Flights
Austrian Airlines (OS) marked the return of nonstop service between Vienna Airport and Dubai International Airport with a red-white-red kick-off event.
The airline hosted all-day giveaways at the airport, including small suitcases filled with Mannerschnitten wafers in Austrian Airlines Dubai style packaging, which proved highly popular.
At festively decorated Gate G17, CEOs Annette Mann and Julian Jäger led a ribbon-cutting ceremony and ceremonial send-off for inaugural flight OS89.
Numerous tourism industry representatives, trade professionals, and travel media attended.
Advance bookings show strong demand. CEO Annette Mann states: “We always say: an airplane belongs in the air! We are trying something new, challenging the market a little and making the best possible use of the capacities of our A320neo fleet in winter.
With the Dubai deal, we have embarked on an exciting venture. Of course, the competition on this route is strong and comfortable.
Nevertheless, the very satisfactory booking situation shows that the mix of ‘slim aircraft, slim price’ is working.”
