LONDON- British Airways (BA) is expanding its network at London Heathrow Airport (LHR) with new nonstop flights to Tivat (TIV) and Guernsey (GCI). The airline now brings its short-haul portfolio to nearly 100 destinations.
Both routes from London Heathrow are available to book and offer the only direct services to their respective destinations. The airline continues to enhance connectivity for leisure and business travel.
British Airways Launches 2 New Nonstop Flights
British Airways is adding 2 new short-haul destinations to its 2026 schedule: Tivat in Montenegro and Guernsey in the Channel Islands.
Seasonal flights to Tivat begin 14 May 2026 from London Heathrow Terminal 3, operating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Year-round service to Guernsey begins 19 April 2026 from Heathrow Terminal 5, operating daily.
These additions align with strong customer demand and follow the airline’s recent expansion, including a new long-haul route to St. Louis and the start of flights to Graz. The network also recently grew with new services to Rabat.
Neil Chernoff, Chief Planning and Strategy Officer at British Airways, stated that the new routes offer more choices for customers and strengthen the Heathrow short-haul network.
He highlighted Montenegro’s coastline and the strong interest in Guernsey, noting connections to more than 20 European and North American destinations.
Tivat
Tivat offers travellers access to Montenegro’s Adriatic coastline, mountain scenery, and historic towns.
The route connects London with a region showing sustained tourism growth. MONSTAT reported 2.6 million arrivals and 15.6 million overnight stays in 2024, with 96% from international visitors.
British Airways will operate 3 weekly flights from Terminal 3 using the following schedule:

Guernsey provides coastline views, cultural landmarks, and walking routes such as the Renoir Walk. Castle Cornet, overlooking St Peter Port, remains a key attraction for visitors.
British Airways will operate the only direct Heathrow–Guernsey service from Terminal 5. The schedule supports smooth onward connections to destinations including Rome, Madrid, Geneva, New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto.

For Montenegro, the 7-night package at the 5-star SIRO Boka Place starts at £979 per person, with an additional €7 tourism tax payable locally. Travel is available on selected dates from 1 September to 26 September 2026.
For Guernsey, the two-night package at the 4-star Fermain Valley starts at £329 per person and includes breakfast.
Travel is available on selected dates from 1 September to 30 September 2026. All packages must be booked by 4 December 2025.
