ATLANTA— Delta Air Lines (DL) is expanding its network from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) next spring, adding new routes and boosting existing ones across several key markets.
Starting May 7, 2026, Delta will launch daily nonstop service between Seattle (SEA) and Philadelphia (PHL), operated by the Airbus A321neo. The new route, confirmed to AirlineGeeks, aims to meet strong demand from both corporate and leisure travelers.
Delta Seattle to Philadelphia Flight
Delta’s (DL) latest expansion strengthens its position in Seattle, one of its major coastal hubs. The new Seattle–Philadelphia route will provide travelers with more nonstop options, competing directly with American Airlines (AA) and Alaska Airlines (AS), both of which currently operate on the same city pair, AirlineGeeks reported.
In addition to the new service, Delta will adjust the launch date of its fourth daily Seattle–Boston (BOS) flight, moving it up from June to May 7.
The schedule shift is intended to meet growing spring travel demand and align with Delta’s broader East Coast connectivity strategy.
Increased West Coast Connectivity
The carrier is also adding frequencies on two important West Coast routes. Service between Seattle (SEA) and Ontario, California (ONT) will increase to four daily flights, while flights to San Jose, California (SJC) will rise to five per day.
