BENGALURU- Air India Express (IX) has announced the launch of new direct flights from Bengaluru to three major Middle Eastern destinations — Jeddah (JED), Riyadh (RUH), and Kuwait (KWI).
The services will commence on October 26, 2025, with flights to Jeddah, followed by routes to Riyadh and Kuwait from October 27. These additions bring the airline’s international network from Bengaluru to seven destinations, positioning the city as Air India Express’ fastest-growing hub.

Air India Express New Int’l Routes from Bengaluru
According to the airline, the Bengaluru–Jeddah service will operate three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays, departing at 17:45 and arriving in Jeddah at 21:30.
Return flights from Jeddah to Bengaluru will leave at 22:30 and land at 06:40 the next morning.
Flights to Riyadh will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, departing at 21:00 and arriving at 00:20. The return leg will depart Riyadh at 01:20 and reach Bengaluru at 08:55.
Similarly, Bengaluru–Kuwait flights will run on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with returns on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The new routes are expected to benefit a wide range of passengers, including those traveling for the Umrah pilgrimage via Jeddah, as well as professionals and entrepreneurs working in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
The services also support the growing interest among Indian travelers exploring Saudi Arabia’s cultural and heritage destinations.
The airline recently launched services to Kathmandu, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Dehradun and will soon begin flights to Bangkok (BKK) from October 18 and Jodhpur (JDH) and Udaipur (UDR) from November 1.

Attractive Inaugural Fares
The new routes follow Air India Express’ ongoing expansion from Bengaluru, where it currently operates over 440 weekly flights.
Overall, Air India Express now connects Bengaluru to 35 domestic and seven international destinations, underscoring its growing role as a major aviation gateway in South India.
The airline is offering introductory fares to mark the launch. Bengaluru–Riyadh flights start at ₹13,500 (505 SAR from Riyadh), while Bengaluru–Jeddah fares begin at ₹19,500 (570 SAR from Jeddah). Bengaluru–Kuwait fares start at ₹13,600 (27 KWD from Kuwait).
Bookings are available through the airline’s official website airindiaexpress.com, its mobile app, and across major travel booking platforms. The airline expects strong demand from expatriates, business travelers, and families visiting relatives across the region.
