DELHI— Tata Group-owned LCC Air India Express (IX) has announced a significant domestic expansion, adding multiple new direct routes from Delhi (DEL) starting 26 October 2025. The move enhances connectivity between the capital and key cities across India, including Goa (GOI), Imphal (IMF), Lucknow (LKO), and Port Blair (IXZ).
From 28 October and 1 November 2025, new services to Amritsar (ATQ), Jodhpur (JDH), and Udaipur (UDR) will follow, giving travellers more flight options from Delhi to cultural and economic hubs nationwide.

Air India Express Expands Delhi Network
The latest schedule from Air India Express reinforces its strategy to build stronger regional connectivity from major metropolitan centers. The airline will operate multiple daily and weekly flights on new routes from Delhi (DEL), improving accessibility to destinations known for tourism, heritage, and trade.
From 26 October 2025, Delhi–Goa (GOI) services will run twice daily and six times weekly, while new daily connections will link Delhi with Imphal (IMF), Lucknow (LKO), and Port Blair (IXZ). Additional frequencies will connect Port Blair to Delhi three times a week.
Starting 28 October, new thrice-weekly flights will operate between Delhi and Amritsar (ATQ), followed by the launch of daily services to Jodhpur (JDH) and Udaipur (UDR) on 1 November. Bookings are open through airindiaexpress.com, the mobile app, and all major travel platforms.

Enhancing Accessibility from the Capital
Air India Express currently operates over 400 weekly flights from Delhi (DEL), connecting directly to 24 domestic destinations and two international cities — Muscat (MCT) and Sharjah (SHJ).
From 26 October 2025, all domestic flights will operate from Terminal 1 (T1), while international operations will continue from Terminal 3 (T3).
In addition, more than 60 weekly flights operate from Hindon Airport (Ghaziabad) to nine domestic destinations, including Bengaluru (BLR), Chennai (MAA), and Kolkata (CCU), providing travellers in the Delhi NCR region with added flexibility.

Strengthening the Airline’s Growth Strategy
With a fleet of 115 aircraft, including Boeing 737s and Airbus A320s, Air India Express operates over 500 daily flights to 43 domestic and 17 international destinations.
The latest route expansion underscores the airline’s role in linking India’s cultural and commercial centers, especially through its growing presence in Delhi and Bengaluru (BLR).
The airline’s ‘Tales of India’ initiative highlights its commitment to cultural storytelling, showcasing over 50 indigenous art forms across its aircraft liveries, such as Madhubani, Bandhani, and Kalamkari.
Passengers can also explore Xpress Holidays, a curated travel platform offering bundled flight and hotel packages, along with Gourmair hot meals and personalized booking features across its digital channels.
