DOHA- Qatar Airways (QR) and Philippine Airlines (PR) have established a codeshare agreement that will significantly expand service connections between Doha (DOH) and Manila (MNL), providing enhanced global connectivity for travellers from both regions.
Beginning June 16, 2025, Philippine Airlines (PR) will operate daily nonstop flights between Manila (MNL) and Doha (DOH) as part of this strategic cooperation. Qatar Airways (QR) will place its code on these 7 weekly flights during the initial phase of the partnership.
Qatar Airways, Philippine Airlines Codeshare
The daily service will depart Manila (MNL) at 18:50, arriving in Doha (DOH) at 23:40, creating optimal connections to Qatar Airways’ extensive global network.
The network spans 170 destinations across Africa, the Americas, Central Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Passengers will benefit from transfers through Hamad International Airport (DOH), recently voted the World’s Best Airport in the Middle East by Skytrax in 2025.
For eastbound travellers, the partnership facilitates smooth connections as well. Passengers arriving in Doha (DOH) on Qatar Airways (QR) flights can transfer to Philippine Airlines’ daily service departing Doha (DOH) at 01:30, arriving at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) at 16:15.

The daily nonstop flights will utilise Philippine Airlines’ long-range Airbus A330-300 aircraft configured with two cabin classes. The aircraft features 18 flat-bed seats in Business Class and 341 seats in Economy Class.
The flight schedule provides convenient timing for travellers in both directions:
- Manila (MNL) to Doha (DOH) – Flight PR684: Departure 18:50, Arrival 23:40
- Doha (DOH) to Manila (MNL) – Flight PR685: Departure 01:30, Arrival 16:15
Both airlines plan to explore expanded collaboration opportunities, including joint promotion of additional destinations within their respective networks and the potential integration of frequent flyer programs.
Qatar Airways’ Codeshare Network
This partnership adds to Qatar Airways’ extensive codeshare network, which includes strategic agreements with major global carriers such as American Airlines (AA), British Airways (BA), Japan Airlines (JL), and Cathay Pacific (CX).
