GURUGRAM- IndiGo Airlines (6E), India’s largest LCC by market share, continues strengthening its international network by launching a new direct flight between Kochi and Ras Al Khaimah. IndiGo will also introduce additional flights to Dammam.
The move is part of IndiGo’s broader strategy to enhance connectivity between India and the Middle East. The region has strong economic and cultural ties to the subcontinent.
IndiGo Kochi to Ras Al Khaimah flights
Starting 15th March 2025, IndiGo will fly daily between Kochi and Ras Al Khaimah. The flights will be operated with the below schedule:
- The flight from Kochi to Ras Al Khaimah, 6E 1517, will depart daily at 09:15 PM IST. The flight will arrive in Ras Al Khaimah at 12:10 AM local time.
- The return flight, 6E 1518, will leave Ras Al Khaimah at 01:10 AM local time. The return flight will land in Kochi at 06:35 AM IST.
The schedule has been strategically designed to offer convenient departure and arrival times, allowing travelers to plan their trips efficiently. This move will not only benefit business travelers but also families and tourists seeking a hassle-free journey to the UAE’s northernmost emirate.
IndiGo will operate the new Kochi-Ras Al Khaimah route with its Airbus A320neo aircraft, ensuring a comfortable and efficient journey for passengers.
More flights to Dammam
Starting 1st April 2025, IndiGo will fly twice daily between Mumbai and Dammam in Saudi Arabia. IndiGo currently operates daily flights to Dammam from Mumbai. The airline will add a 2nd daily flight in this sector.
This additional daily flight will be operated with the below schedule:
- The flight from Mumbai to Dammam, 6E 53, will depart daily at 04:35 AM IST. The flight will arrive in Dammam at 06:35 AM local time.
- The return flight, 6E 54, will leave Dammam at 07:45 AM local time. The return flight will land in Mumbai at 02:15 PM IST.
IndiGo will operate the additional new Mumbai-Dammam flights with its Airbus A320neo aircraft, ensuring a comfortable and efficient journey for passengers.
Strengthening India-Middle East Connectivity
The launch of this direct service between Kochi and Ras Al Khaimah underscores IndiGo’s commitment to offering more convenient travel options for both leisure and business travelers.
The Middle East is home to a vast Indian diaspora, with thousands of expatriates working in various sectors across the UAE. The new flight route will provide seamless connectivity for passengers traveling between Kerala and the rapidly growing emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
Additionally, IndiGo is expanding its connectivity to Saudi Arabia. The airline is introducing a second daily flight between Mumbai and Dammam starting April 1, 2025. Currently operating a daily flight on this route, the airline will enhance capacity to meet the growing travel demand.
With this daily flight from Kochi, IndiGo will now operate 3 daily flights to Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE. The airline already operates a daily flight each from Mumbai and Hyderabad.
Dammam will also see the higher presence of IndiGo. With these additional flights from Mumbai, IndiGo will now operate 6x daily flights from Dammam. The airline currently operates a daily flight each from Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Kozhikode, and Hyderabad.
Ras Al Khaimah’s Growing Tourism and Business Potential
