BERMUDA- Last year in August, BermudAir (2T) launched as a new airline connecting Bermuda to key destinations in the United States. Initially, it operated flights from Bermuda (BDA) to Boston (BOS), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), and Westchester (HPN).
By early 2024, BermudAir expanded service to Baltimore (BWI) and Orlando (MCO) and later added Canadian routes to Halifax (YHZ) and Toronto (YYZ).

BermudAir 3 New US Destinations
Continuing its U.S. expansion without a fleet increase, BermudAir now plans to add three more U.S. destinations next spring:
- Charleston (CHS),
- Hartford (BDL), and
- Raleigh-Durham (RDU).

Starting April 3, 2025, BermudAir will operate twice-weekly flights from Bermuda to Hartford Bradley on Thursdays and Sundays:
- 2T431 departs Bermuda at 4:00 PM, arriving in Hartford at 5:05 PM.
- 2T432 departs Hartford at 6:20 PM, arriving in Bermuda at 9:20 PM.
This 794-mile route has a flight time of approximately 2 hours and 5 minutes each way.
On April 11, 2025, BermudAir will launch twice-weekly service from Bermuda to Raleigh-Durham, scheduled on Mondays and Fridays:
- 2T951 departs Bermuda at 8:30 AM, arriving in Raleigh at 9:35 AM.
- 2T952 departs Raleigh at 10:35 AM, arriving in Bermuda at 1:40 PM.
The 843-mile journey has an estimated flight time of 2 hours and 5 minutes each way.
On April 19, 2025, BermudAir will begin weekly service to Charleston, scheduled for Saturdays:
- 2T622 departs Bermuda at 3:15 PM, arriving in Charleston at 4:45 PM.
- 2T623 departs Charleston at 5:45 PM, arriving in Bermuda at 8:55 PM.
This 896-mile route is blocked at 2 hours and 30 minutes westbound and 2 hours and 10 minutes eastbound.
BermudAir will operate all routes with its Embraer E175 aircraft, with two planes in its fleet.

In Service for 15 Months
BermudAir has operated reliably for about 15 months with a conservative approach, flying only two Embraer E175s acquired after Flybe’s closure. Despite limited fleet expansion, BermudAir continues to add new destinations, now offering flights to 10 cities from Bermuda by spring 2025.
Initially designed as an all-business-class airline with a unique 1-1 seating layout, BermudAir has since pivoted to a mixed cabin model, adding an economy option. Currently, the airline offers an 88-seat 2-2 configuration where business class passengers receive an economy seat with an adjacent empty seat and enhanced service.
Supply chain delays have stalled the full rollout of the originally planned business-class cabin, leaving no confirmed timeline for this feature, OMAAT reported.
BermudAir has not canceled any routes since launch, demonstrating a commitment to its markets. Its latest expansion, adding Charleston, Hartford, and Raleigh in early 2025, marks continued growth, even without a larger fleet.
Questions remain about BermudAir’s financial health and long-term business model, but its consistent operation indicates resilience in a competitive industry.
