LONDON- The flag carrier of the UK, British Airways (BA) is expanding transatlantic operations for Summer 2025, offering over 400 direct weekly flights to North America during peak periods.
The airline will serve 26 US cities, providing connections to more than 100 US destinations through partner airlines.
British Airways Summer 2025
British Airways leads European carriers in transatlantic flights and remains the sole European airline offering First-class luxury across the Atlantic from London. The expanded summer schedule from London Heathrow includes:
Miami: Increased to 14 weekly flights, establishing a year-round twice-daily service. A new lounge featuring the latest design concept will open in 2025.
Austin: Service enhanced to 13 weekly flights, adding six flights.
Las Vegas: Peak season service boosted to 10 weekly flights, an increase of three.
Pittsburgh: Route upgraded to daily service with seven weekly flights.
Washington DC: Frequency increased to 21 weekly flights, adding seven flights.
Vancouver: Service expanded to 14 weekly flights from London Heathrow during peak summer. Combined with daily London Gatwick flights, passengers can choose from three daily flights between June and September.

Other Summer Routes
Global route network updates for Summer 2025:
- Delhi: Third daily flight added, totaling 63 weekly flights to India across five destinations
- Cancun: Gatwick service increased to daily
- Florence: Second daily flight from Heathrow added
- Kuala Lumpur and Jeddah: New services launched in November 2024 continue into the summer of 2025.
- Riyadh: Frequency increased
Winter 2024 updates:
- Bangkok: Direct Gatwick route returns October 28, 2024, operating thrice weekly, increasing to five times weekly January-March 2025
- Doha: First cabin option introduced on one of two daily Heathrow flights, operated by Boeing 787-10
