NEW YORK- An American Airlines (AA) flight made an emergency landing in New York on Wednesday after Neil McCarthy, a 25-year-old from, Oregon, urinated in the aisle and exposed himself.

American Airlines Emergency Landing
American Airlines stated that the flight resumed its journey from Buffalo shortly after the incident, thanking their team for their professionalism and customers for their understanding.
The flight, originally from Chicago (ORD) to Manchester (MHT), New Hampshire, diverted to Buffalo Airport (BUF) following the incident.
A criminal affidavit filed in federal court revealed that McCarthy had been traveling from Portland to Manchester with a layover in Chicago, consuming several ‘Jack and Cokes’ before and during the flights.
Reports indicated that the accused has a medical urination problem. During the flight, he got up to use the restroom and, while returning to his seat, was ‘flicking the bean.’
A flight attendant informed local law enforcement that McCarthy had exposed himself and urinated in the aisle of the small Embraer regional jet.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), there have been 893 reports of unruly airline passenger behavior submitted to federal authorities since the beginning of the year.
Last year, American Airlines passenger traveling from New York to New Delhi allegedly urinated on another passenger while intoxicated. The incident occurred on flight AA292, which departed from New York at 9:16 p.m.
Airport authorities reported, “The accused, a student at a US institution, was intoxicated and urinated while dozing off. It leaked onto another passenger, who then complained to the crew.”
