New App for Cabin Executive
Air India has also recently introduced Cabin Executive (CE) Plus, a cutting-edge iOS app tailored for its extensive team of over 1,200 cabin executives responsible for overseeing the cabin crew during flights.

This app represents a significant milestone in the airline’s commitment to elevating customer experience by equipping cabin executives with advanced digital solutions accessible via handheld devices.
Developed collaboratively by Air India’s digital technology and design teams based in Silicon Valley and Gurugram, in partnership with the in-flight services team, Cabin Executive Plus (CE Plus) integrates a range of functionalities into a single platform.
CE Plus will receive regular, exciting upgrades to further enhance the guest experience and empower cabin executives.
Struggle at AIX
On May 22, the Air India Express union raised concerns about flight delays and cancellations, noting that the reduced number of departures is negatively affecting cabin crew salaries.
The Air India Express Employees Union (AIXEU) also reported that over 100 cabin crew members have been without flying duties for the past two months due to the unavailability of airport entry passes.
On May 9, a cabin crew strike was called off following a meeting between union representatives and the airline, facilitated by the Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) in the national capital.
