GURUGRAM- The Air India (AI) mobile app has clinched top honors in the 11th annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, as recently announced.
Recognized for its innovative and user-friendly design, the Air India mobile app has received the prestigious Gold Stevie® award for Innovation in General Utility Apps across the Asia Pacific.

This accolade marks a significant milestone as Air India becomes the first Indian airline to be bestowed with such recognition.
Known as the Stevies, derived from the Greek word for “crowned,” these awards are among the foremost business accolades globally, honoring achievements across diverse business programs. This year, over 1,000 nominations from organizations across the Asia-Pacific region were scrutinized across various categories.
Following its acquisition by the Tata Group, Air India underwent a comprehensive overhaul of its mobile app, primarily focusing on enhancing the guest experience. The revamped app introduces various innovative features to provide guests with seamless access to pertinent information in a user-friendly format.
Developed by Air India’s in-house teams in Kochi and Silicon Valley, these features include a dynamic splash screen displaying relevant information, easy access to upcoming trip details such as onboard dining menus, timely notifications, an intuitive loyalty portal, a cutting-edge GenAI virtual assistant, and a pioneering ‘flight status’ feature that even offers insights into the incoming aircraft for the scheduled flight.

The app has received widespread acclaim from users in app stores, boasting an impressive 4.7 rating in the Apple iOS app store in India, positioning it as the top-rated airline app from India and among the best globally within their respective home markets.
