Premium Amenity Kit for Premium Economy Class
Singapore Airlines (SIA) has unveiled a brand-new amenity kit, Out of the Woods, exclusively designed for Premium Economy Class passengers on flights lasting at least seven hours.
This initiative marks the first significant overhaul of SIA’s Premium Economy Class in-flight experience since its inception in 2015, reinforcing its commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Mr. Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President of Customer Experience at Singapore Airlines, commented, “Since its launch in 2015, Premium Economy Class has garnered popularity among our passengers.
They value the additional amenities, enhanced comfort, and increased personal space, all offered at a great value. However, at Singapore Airlines, we believe in constant evolution.
By actively seeking customer feedback, conducting market research, and staying attuned to travelers’ evolving preferences, we continuously strive to innovate and provide a personalized and world-class in-flight experience.
Dining Options
SIA has expanded its Premium Economy Class in-flight dining options by developing over 200 new appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Each meal will include a seasonal appetizer, main course, bread, dessert, cheese, and crackers, served on a full-sized tray.
Upgraded bread choices will feature croissants for breakfast and garlic bread rolls for lunch, dinner, and supper. New appetizers include garlic roasted prawns with smoked aioli, Patatas Bravas, broccoli salad with hot smoked salmon, and various seasonal variations of Japanese cold noodles with soba sauce.
Passengers can select from two premium main course options, international or Asian cuisine, on every flight. Highlights include dishes like Beef Bourguignon, Bak Chor Mee, Thai-style Crab Curry, and other seasonal specialties.
Additionally, customers have the option to pre-order from an expanded Book the Cook menu, featuring up to 20 dishes, including popular choices like Singapore Style Seafood Hor Fun and Chicken Biryani, as well as new additions like Slow Braised Lamb Ragout and Sake Teriyaki.
For dessert, passengers can indulge in specially crafted treats like Chocolate Feuilletine Cake, Mascarpone Cream Cake, and Apple Crumble Cheesecake, accompanied by a small bar of chocolate and upgraded cheese and crackers.
To complement the meals, a selection of wines and Champagne curated by SIA’s panel of experts is available exclusively for Premium Economy Class passengers, along with an extensive range of spirits, signature cocktails, and beers.
Non-alcoholic beverage options have also been expanded to include Peppermint and Chamomile teas, hot chocolate from Cadbury, and existing soft drinks, fruit juices, coffee, and teas.
Between meals, passengers can request new snack options, such as almonds and cashews, and the existing assortment of snacks, such as potato chips, assorted buns, sandwiches, muffins, and flavored popcorn.
Brand New Amenity Kit
