NEW YORK- The New Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), New York, has partnered with EVA Air (BR), designating the premium airline to operate from this state-of-the-art terminal.
Under construction, the New Terminal One is set to unveil its initial gates in 2026, a collaborative effort with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey as part of the agency’s $19 billion overhaul of JFK Airport.

EVA Air, recognized as one of the exclusive 10 Skytrax 5-star airlines worldwide, is presently based at the existing Terminal 1. Its operations will seamlessly transition to the New Terminal One upon its inauguration in 2026. This move allows the award-winning airline to provide an unparalleled travel experience for passengers traveling to and from New York.
EVA Air presently conducts daily flights between New York JFK and Taipei Taoyuan International Airport, utilizing Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and offering services across three cabins: Royal Laurel Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class.

Joining Premium Airlines at JFK
EVA Air is set to join an expanding roster of premium international airlines committed to operating at The New Terminal One, joining the likes of Air France (AF), KLM (KL), Etihad Airways (EY), Korean Air (KE), and LOT Polish Airlines (LO). Additional airline announcements are anticipated in the upcoming months.
The construction of The New Terminal One is advancing, and the initial phase of the $9 billion project is scheduled to open in 2026, featuring 14 widebody aircraft gates.
Phase A will encompass over 120,000 square feet, hosting retail, dining, and lounge facilities across a footprint of 1.7 million square feet.
Upon its full completion in 2030, The New Terminal One will emerge as the largest international terminal at JFK, boasting 23 gates and exceeding 300,000 square feet dedicated to retail, dining, and lounge amenities, all within a vast total footprint of 2.4 million square feet.
