NEW YORK- Delta Air Lines (DL), a U.S. carrier, has officially announced the recommencement of non-stop flights between Prague (PRG) and New York’s JFK airport, commencing on May 10, 2024, according to a recent press release.
The airline intends to offer daily flights on this route until October 6, utilizing the Boeing 767-300 aircraft for the service.
Delta New York to Prague Flights
The expected duration of the journey is approximately 9 hours and 25 minutes.
Tickets for these flights are currently on sale, with a starting fare of CZK 24,000 for a one-way trip.
“The revival of non-stop flights to New York, a highly appealing long-haul destination from Prague in 2019, is a fantastic development,” stated Jiří Pos, Chairman of the Prague Airport Board of Directors.
This will be especially valued by Czech passengers, providing them with a convenient and swift link to the east coast of the United States.
For travelers seeking destinations beyond New York, Delta provides same-day connections to 42 cities throughout the United States from its hub at JFK, simplifying connections to friends, family, and business associates.

Delta Air Lines leads in the number of flights from Europe to New York-JFK compared to any other carrier, with a total of 190 flights departing each day this month.
All of Delta’s flights originating from the Czech Republic are executed in collaboration with its joint venture partners, namely Air France (AF), KLM, and Virgin Atlantic.
The flights operated by Delta will utilize Boeing 767-300 aircraft, which includes 25 seats in Delta One business class, 35 seats in Delta Comfort+, and 165 seats in the Main Cabin, offering a diverse range of options to accommodate various preferences and budgets.
