Wizz Air India Flights
The Maltese subsidiary of Wizz Air recently secured approval from the ENAC Italian National Aviation Organization to operate up to 7 weekly flights between Italy and India. However, the permit’s validity is limited to the winter season 2023/2024.
As Wizz Air currently lacks an aircraft capable of covering the distance between the two countries without interruption, coupled with delays in delivering the A321XLR aircraft intended for this purpose, initial flights may probably involve a layover in an intermediate city.
Technical support is anticipated to be provided by Saudi Arabia or Abu Dhabi bases.
