LONDON- In the upcoming Northern summer 2024 season, Virgin Atlantic (VS) is enhancing its operations on the London Heathrow (LHR) to Miami (MIA) route.
The airline is set to increase its weekly services from 10 to 14, starting from March 31, 2024. This route will be serviced by a combination of Airbus A330-300 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

Virgin Atlantic London to Miami Flights Update
Here are the changes to VS Summer LHR-MIA Flights as reported by Aeroroutes:
From London Heathrow (LHR) to Miami (MIA):
- Flight VS005 departs at 09:50 and arrives at 14:40 using Airbus A330-300, operating daily.
- Flight VS117 departs at 12:45 and arrives at 17:10 using Boeing 787-9, operating daily.
From Miami (MIA) to London Heathrow (LHR):
- Flight VS006 departs at 16:30 and arrives at 06:30 the following day using Airbus A330-300, operating daily.
- Flight VS118 departs at 20:35 and arrives at 10:10 the following day using Boeing 787-9, operating daily.

Other US Flight Changes
- London Heathrow to Austin: Starting on October 29, 2023, the service will be reduced from 4 to 3 weekly flights, operated by 787-9 aircraft. Additionally, the service will be canceled as of January 8, 2024.
- London Heathrow to Boston: From January 16 to February 29, 2024, the service will be reduced from 7 to 6 weekly flights, with a combination of A330-300 and -900neo aircraft.
- London Heathrow to Las Vegas: From January 7 to January 11, 2024, the A350-1000XWB aircraft will replace the 787-9 on this route.
- London Heathrow to Miami: Between November 30 and December 13, 2023, one of the daily flights, VS005/006, will be operated by a 787-9 aircraft, replacing the A350-1000XWB.
- London Heathrow to San Francisco: From January 7 to January 11, 2024, the 787-9 will be used instead of the A350-1000XWB.
- London Heathrow to Seattle: Starting from January 15 to February 25, 2024, the service will be reduced from 7 to 5 weekly flights, operated by 787-9 aircraft.
- London Heathrow to Washington Dulles: Between January 15 and March 3, 2024, the service will be reduced from 7 to 5 weekly flights, utilizing 787-9 aircraft.
