NEW YORK- The JetBlue Airways (B6) Airbus A321 was stationary at New York JFK airport in the United States, having recently landed from Bridgetown, Barbados, operating as flight B6662, when a major mishap occurred, causing the aircraft to tip backward.
The aircraft involved in the incident is Airbus A321-200, which has the registration N959JB. Further, it is a 7.9-year-old aircraft and is powered by two IAE Engines.

It has been reported that as a consequence of this incident, United Airlines had to cancel the aircraft’s upcoming flight to Houston. Furthermore, it was noted that the aircraft was carrying the USC Trojan Football team, who had traveled from Los Angeles to Pullman, Washington, for a match against the Washington State Cougars.
As is often the case, social media users swiftly picked up on the incident. Some users suggested preventive measures, with one individual proposing, “Aircraft holds should be unloaded starting from the aft hold and then the forward hold to prevent this type of occurrence.”
