GURUGRAM- IndiGo (6E), the largest domestic airline in India, is pleased to unveil the amalgamation of its Fast Forward (FFWD) and Priority Boarding services at airports, designed to elevate the boarding experience.
Within the FFWD service, IndiGo will maintain its priority check-in service while introducing the added benefit of anytime boarding.
IndiGo Changes Priority Baggage Handling
Your checked-in baggage will be delivered alongside other passengers’ baggage. Those who have previously availed of FFWD will receive direct communication informing them of these updates.
This integration endeavors to streamline 6E services, presenting a cohesive product that combines check-in and boarding advantages, all for the enhanced convenience of their valued customers.
Air India Self-Baggage Drop at Delhi
In late September 2023, in a move aimed at enhancing the customer experience, Air India (AI) introduced an integrated self-baggage drop and self-kiosk check-in service at Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport (DEL) for both domestic and international flights.
This makes Air India the first Indian carrier to offer such a service.
Currently, this service is available for all flights bound for Australia as well as for all domestic flights within India.
Air India passengers can now take advantage of a seamless digital process that enables them to print boarding passes and baggage tags and independently drop off their bags without the need for traditional check-in at the counters.
Additionally, these kiosks allow travelers to customize their trips by selecting preferred seats and updating frequent flyer numbers, among other options.
