KOLKATA- Air India (AI), Tata-owned India’s largest international carrier, will commence a direct flight service between Kolkata (CCU) and Bangkok (BKK), Thailand starting on October 23, 2023.
This new flight, unveiled during Kolkata’s festive season, will provide a convenient non-stop link between the two cities.
Air India Kolkata to Bangkok Flight
Flight AI322 will depart from Kolkata at 2200 hrs, arriving in Bangkok at 0205 hrs the following morning. The return journey, AI321, will take off from Bangkok at 0305 hrs, landing in Kolkata at 0410 hrs (all times are local).
The flight will be operated using a narrowbody Airbus aircraft, offering a two-class configuration with Economy and Business Class. It will operate six days a week, from Monday to Saturday.
In addition to boosting tourism and trade between the two cities, this direct route to Bangkok will provide Air India passengers with an excellent opportunity to access seamless connections to 10 popular destinations in Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia through Air India’s interline partnership with Bangkok Airways.
Currently, Air India operates a total of 14 weekly flights to Bangkok, including daily non-stop flights from Delhi and Mumbai.
Expanding its network is a vital part of Air India’s transformation strategy, and this new launch aligns with the airline’s commitment to enhance connectivity and increase flight frequency on both domestic and international routes as it continues to add new aircraft to its fleet.
Kochi to Doha Flights
Air India (AI) is also introducing a daily non-stop service between Kochi, the commercial hub of Kerala, and Doha, the capital of Qatar, starting on October 23, 2023. This new flight will provide a convenient and comfortable direct link between the two cities.
Flight AI953 will depart at 01:30 local time and arrive in Doha at 03:45 hrs. The return flight AI954 will take off from Doha at 04:45 hrs and land in Kochi at 11:35 hrs (all times are local).
The flight will be operated using an A320neo aircraft, offering 162 seats (150 in Economy Class and 12 in Business Class). Air India already operates a daily direct flight from Kochi to Dubai.
This new launch aligns with Air India’s commitment to expanding connectivity and increasing flight frequency on domestic and international routes as the airline continues expanding its fleet with new aircraft.
