With more than 6,000 flights in both directions, this service has met the needs of an underserved route, strengthening vital trade and tourism ties and benefiting both economies.
Emirates’ ten years of service between the “Fashion capital of the World” and the most visited city in the U.S. have facilitated the transport of over 37,000 tonnes of cargo, including Italian exports such as apparel, food products, and jewelry, and U.S. exports like apparel, textiles, spare parts, and chemicals used in various industries.
Emirates SkyCargo, the airline’s cargo division, annually facilitates nearly 4,000 tonnes of cargo between these gateways, underscoring Emirates’ dedication to supporting local economies and businesses in both nations.
With its daily direct service between Milan and New York, Emirates offers convenient connections for various groups, including Italian expatriates, students, business travelers, and tourists between Italy and the United States.
The route is especially popular among travelers flying from Italy to New York and onwards to other destinations with significant Italian communities.
