WASHINGTON- The Flag carrier of UAE, Emirates (EK) Airlines, is making changes to its operational aircraft for the Dubai – Washington Dulles route in the upcoming Northern Winter 2023/24 season.
The airline plans to deploy Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on this route starting from November 5, 2023, replacing the previously used A380.
Emirates 777 on Washington Flights
This adjustment is set to be a permanent change, and the 777 aircraft will continue to operate on this route, including during the Northern summer 2024 season beginning on March 31, 2024, as of September 18, 2023.
The flight schedule for this route is as follows:
- Emirates flight EK231 departs from Dubai at 02:25 AM and arrives at Washington Dulles at 08:10 AM using a Boeing 777-300ER. This flight operates daily.
- Emirates flight EK232 departs from Washington Dulles at 10:30 AM and arrives at Dubai at 08:15 AM the following day, using a Boeing 777-300ER. This flight operates daily.
All A380 Flights to Australia
Starting from November 4, 2023, Emirates will utilize its double-decker A380 aircraft on its third daily flight to Sydney. Thereby adding nearly 2,000 extra weekly seats to the route.
The Emirates A380 service, configured with three classes and offering 489 seats, will replace the Boeing 777-300ER that is currently in use for flights EK 416 and 417.
Starting from November 4, 2023, Emirates will utilize its double-decker A380 aircraft on its third daily flight to Sydney. Thereby adding nearly 2,000 extra weekly seats to the route.
The Emirates A380 service, configured with three classes and offering 489 seats, will replace the Boeing 777-300ER that is currently in use for flights EK 416 and 417.
Emirates has also reinstated services from Melbourne to Singapore and connected Sydney with Christchurch, offering passengers the exclusive A380 experience for Trans-Tasman flights.
