ISTANBUL- A person’s dead body is discovered in the landing gear of a Turkish Airlines (TK) Airbus A330 aircraft that arrived at Istanbul Airport (IST) late on Thursday (September 14, 2023).
The incident was confirmed by a spokesperson for the airline, who stated that the aircraft had flown from Amsterdam (AMS). Technical maintenance teams found the lifeless body during routine inspections.
The identity and nationality of the deceased individual were not immediately known, and both the police and the airline are conducting separate investigations into the matter, as mentioned by the spokesperson.
