DUBAI- Flag carrier of UAE Emirates (EK) and Maldivian (Q2) have entered into an interline partnership, allowing Emirates passengers to access 16 sought-after vacation destinations in the Maldives beyond the capital, Malé.
This collaboration builds upon last year’s Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two airlines, which aimed to explore potential avenues for mutual cooperation.
Emirates Maldivian Interline Partnership
The interline agreement expands the travel choices available to Emirates customers heading to the Maldivian archipelago. It enables passengers to utilize the services and networks of both airlines on a single ticket, streamlining the overall travel experience.
Travelers bound for the stunning island getaways in the Maldives can now take advantage of the convenience of flying into more popular holiday destinations. They can easily connect from Velana International Airport in the North Malé atoll to Maldivian’s services, gaining access to various domestic points for their island retreat.
Starting from September 15, travelers can book their travel itineraries on emirates.com, the Emirates mobile app, or through their preferred travel agents for flights that are effective immediately.
