ABU DHABI – Air Arabia Abu Dhabi (3L), the budget airline, has unveiled its latest route, initiating a connection from Abu Dhabi (AUH) to the city of Lar (LRR) in Iran.
Starting from September 14, 2023, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi will initiate direct flights three times a week between Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) and Larestan International Airport (LRR).
Flight Schedule to Larestan
Larestan is a city located in the Fars Province of Iran. It holds historical and cultural significance. It is known for its connection to ancient Persian civilization.
Moreover, the city showcases a wealth of historical heritage, architectural marvels, and time-honored traditions.
This new route will provide seamless connectivity between the two cities. The flight takes off from Abu Dhabi (AUH) at 1010 AM and lands in Lar (LRR) at 10.45 AM.
The return flight will depart from Lar (LRR) at 11.25 AM and arrive in Abu Dhabi (AUH) at 1:10 PM on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Travelers interested in direct flights between these two cities can conveniently secure their bookings through various channels. These include Air Arabia’s official website, the call center, and partnering travel agencies.
Air Arabia’s Network Expansion
By launching the Lar route, the airline broadens its network to over 33 destinations. Encompassing prominent urban centers such as Ahmedabad, Alexandria, Cairo, and Mumbai, among several others.
Operating a fleet of 10 modern Airbus A320 aircraft, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi ensures passengers enjoy enhanced comfort.
The cabin configuration across Air Arabia’s fleet provides added comfort with one of the most generous seat-pitch of any economy cabin.
Furthermore, passengers have the opportunity to utilize ‘SkyTime,’ a complimentary in-flight streaming service. Skytime grants access to a diverse selection of entertainment choices.
Record Profit
The announcement follows closely on the heels of Air Arabia’s remarkable achievement of posting a record second-quarter net profit of AED 459 million. This is an increase of 187% compared to the AED 160 million net profit reported for the same period last year.
In tandem with this financial success, the company’s turnover for the corresponding period surged by 25%, further underscoring the robust demand for air travel.
