LOS ANGELES- During the initial half of September 2023, American Airlines (AA) introduced a temporary service connecting Los Angeles (LAX) and Toronto (YYZ). This route will be served by a 3-class Airbus A321 aircraft with a capacity for 102 passengers.
The operation is scheduled to take place between September 6, 2023, and September 12, 2023.
American Los Angeles to Toronto Flights
Flight AA148 is set to depart from Los Angeles at 09:49 AM, reaching Toronto at 05:44 PM, using the Airbus A321 aircraft with the code “32B.”
The return leg, AA148, will take off from Toronto at 06:40 PM, arriving in Los Angeles at 09:06 PM, maintaining the same aircraft configuration.
Air Canada (AC) serves this route in a codeshare partnership with United Airlines (UA). Further, WestJet (WS), in partnership with Delta Air Lines (DL), serves this route.
Another Canadian carrier, Lynx Air (Y9), plans to start flights between LAX and YYZ.

– Lynx Air (Y9) is set to commence its first flight to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Thursday, August 24.
The flight will depart from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport (YYZ), signifying a substantial expansion in Toronto and building upon the remarkable growth experienced in the past year.

Ishrion Aviation reports, Commencing from October 30, Jetlines is set to inaugurate services from Toronto (YYZ) to MCO, operating four times a week with an Airbus A320 aircraft. Here’s the schedule:
- AU206: Departure from YYZ at 1:30 PM, Arrival at MCO at 3:30 PM
- AU207: Departure from MCO at 5:00 PM, Arrival at YYZ at 7:26 PM
During the upcoming winter season, four airlines [Air Canada (AC), WestJet (WS), Sunwing (WG), and Lynx (Y9)] are already providing flights between YYZ and MCO.
Further, Flair Airlines (F8) operates flights from YYZ to Orlando Sanford (SFB).
