DUBAI- Flag carrier of UAE, Emirates (EK) Airlines, is celebrating one of its most Busiest summers to date. From June to August, it has transported over 14 million passengers, with seat load factors surpassing 80% on average across its global network.
As Emirates looks ahead to the upcoming months, its booking trends reveal an undiminished demand for international travel across its extensive network.
Emirates Busiest Summer
Even during the summer period, Dubai retained its appeal as a preferred destination for travelers, attracting two million passengers who flocked to experience the city’s year-round attractions and events via the airline.
Among the prominent source markets to Dubai on Emirates during this timeframe were the UK, India, Germany, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, China, Egypt, and Kuwait.
Notably, families comprised more than 35% of visitors to Dubai who flew on Emirates, with an average stay of over two weeks, immersing themselves in the city’s remarkable sights and activities.
For the forthcoming winter season, Emirates foresees yet another surge in travel demand to Dubai, driven by the city’s jam-packed schedule of global conferences, world-class sports events, and more.
In the first half of 2023, Dubai has already welcomed over 8.5 million international visitors, a million more than last year’s corresponding period, further underscoring the city’s enduring allure.
